Highlights from Mercedes Benz Fashion Week - BENEXT winner Cecile

New brand Cecile won the BENEXT competition with a collection inspired by the Syrian Civil War created by founder and creative director Sesili Kemularia. The collection explores gender blending, designing shapes that suit both men and women creating the concept of a shared wardrobe. The brand focuses on creating pieces that the customer can make their own and wear them in any way that they want.

BENEXT competition aims to give support, visibility, work placements, internships to young talents from the Georgian region. Young designers have the chance to have their work shown to a jury made up of real fashion and art experts. The winners studied in major schools worldwide and participated in fashion competitions around the globe. BENEXT is the bridge between the designers and the fashion industry.
